♦ CR (Neoprene), moderately resistant to both petroleum oils and weather (ozone, UV, oxygen), good resilience and abrasion, moderate water resistance and poor solvent resistance. A excellent compression set, normally used to air sealing.
♦ VMQ (Silicone), outstanding resistance to extremes of temperature with corresponding resistance to compression set and retention of flexibility, excellent resistance to ozone, oxygen, and moisture. Poor fuel, oil resistance.
